What up people?
We had a great day of grocery shopping at the farmers markets this weekend!!!
Had some valuable family time while perusing all the yummy treats and products you typically find at the F/M.
Our oldest joined us on our fresh produce adventure! It was a blessing to get to spend time with her.
So we went to two farmers markets today.
One in Round Rock and one in Georgetown. We picked up some good food. Lots of food actually. A lot of meat.
We were running low on meat.
But I do want to say something before I show you the haul.
This week was the first week in a while (since we started) that we did not do our weekly menu planning and meal planning.
And yeah, it was bad. We were scrambling every night…scrambling to figure out what we were going to eat…and and so, a word to the wise, if you’re trying to be healthy and you’re trying to watch what you eat (which you should) I do definitely recommend meal planning. Make sure that you actually meal plan, if you choose to go that route. If you don’t, it kind of can really “screw you up”.
So, we were blessed today to go to the farmers market with our oldest daughter Carly. She was at home so we had a chance to hang out with her this morning. Had some amazing mini gluten free doughnuts from a place called Theo’s donuts.
Oh my gosh….so good!!!
We got coffee from our little coffee place inside the G-town farmers market…the Green Ape. We got Arabica bean Coffee.
GOT IT Iced with a splash of oat milk.
So good. And then we had a little donut like this big. I got a picture of it. You’ll see it in just seconds because it’s like this big. I had half of one and Courtney had half of one… a pistachio matcha or matcha pistachio Hall.
That was really good.
One doughnut’s got like 130 calories. So we just took in 65 calories.
Which I would have been totally fine with the whole donut… 130 calories ain’t bad and it was really really good. That was the best tasting donut I’ve had in a long time. *It’s not very good Krispy Kreme.
But it was really really good. Had Pistachios on top and the green tea…so yummy.
I’m assuming it was green from the tea… hopefully it wasn’t food coloring.
So good.
All right. So here is the farmers Hall, the Farmers Market Hall from today.
Peace!
Until next time…have a blessed day!
