Cultivate The Relationships That Matter Most: THEY ARE A GIFT FROM GOD; R & R On The Texas Coast

Texas Coast Y’all!

Me and Courtney had a chance to get away a while! We had the opportunity to stay at a beautiful beach house on the Texas Coast (Gulf of Mexico).

Had a great time fishing, grilling, and taking walks in the beach…gotta get that 45-60 minutes of walking in!

Don’t forget to take the time to reconnect! While we’re working on our healthy journey (or whatever endeavor you’re currently chasing), it’s real easy to get disconnected from the people who are most important to us. Your wife. Your husband. Your kids. Your friends. We must make it a top priority to continually build those relationships!

THAT DOESN’T MEAN you stop working out or neglect your current milestone! It means reengaging. Catching up. Listening. Your spouse, family, and TRUE friends are the most important people…the most important resource (in term of encouragement, inspiration, and fellowship) here on earth!

God has a habit of bringing the people we need into our lives at the perfect time! They are a blessing! A gift from God! They build us up and pass knowledge onto us. Their value goes far beyond any monetary reward we will ever receive! So don’t neglect those relationships. CULTIVATE THEM!

“Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.”
‭‭~ Ecclesiastes‬ ‭4‬:‭9‬-‭12‬

Father God, I pray that you’d continue to put folks into our life that encourage, inspire, and reflect your grace, love, and mercy. ~Amen
